This mixed approach could be a balance or, perhaps, a compromise, between a product-centred and a process-centred approach, in which the teacher provides a partial conceptual structure and leaves the remainder for children to construct by inferring, hypothesising, or testing their ideas. It could encourage lessons where children do investigations with some features already identified by the teacher, and with some conceptual knowledge about the subject that enables them to appreciate the purpose of the activity. In contrast, it could encourage lessons without a clear purpose which mixed different types of activity, but did not develop either conceptual or procedure understanding exclusively..

NOTIFICATION OF "NATIONAL MEANS CUM MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME" DECALERE DATE:-06/11/2020

Bright students with poor financial status in the state can complete their studies up to Std-12.  And to reduce the drop out rate in such secondary and higher secondary schools, a scheme called National Means cum Merit Scholarship has been implemented by MHRD New Delhi for the students studying in Std. 8 of the primary school.This examination is organized by State Examination Board Gandhinagar on Sunday 28/2/2021.

Scholarship amount and payment rules

Students coming in district wise category in the examination will be paid Rs. 1000 per month.  Thus, students with regular eligibility for four years at the rate of Rs. 12000 per annum will be eligible for the scholarship.

The scholarship amount will be paid by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, New Delhi to the eligible students as per the guidelines of MHRD.

Scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary students through MHRD through National Scholarship Portal.

Qualification of the student

In the current academic year, all the students studying in Std. VIII for Government Primary Schools, Local Body Schools, District Panchayat Municipal Corporation or Municipal Schools and Granted Primary Schools can appear for the NMMS examination.

 General category and OBC category students should have obtained at least 55% marks or equivalent marks in standard seven.

The annual income of the guardians of all categories of students should not exceed one lakh and fifty thousand.

Private Schools Private Schools Cell Finance Schools Kendriya Vidyalaya Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and students of residential schools run by state government institutions in which accommodation and study facilities are provided will not be able to fill up the application form.

Examination fee

Examination Fee For General Category and OBC Category students the examination fee will be Rs 70.  

For AC and ST category students the exam will be Rs.50.  

Fees paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

.Fee acceptance center

After filling the application form of Computer Post Office of Gujarat as a fee hunting center, its challan can be printed and filled.  Two of the three-part printed currency will be returned by the post office.  The payee from the post office will have to check with the receipt given by the post office whether it is made from the confirmation number or not.

Examination fee can also be paid through ATM Card Net Banking through Online Payment Gateway. Click on Print Application Currency and fill in the details for online deposit.  Then click on Online Payment. Then select the appropriate option from the options of NetBanking or Other Payment and fill in the following details.  After the fee is deposited, it will be written on the screen that we have been credited.  Then you will get an e-receipt to print.

Examination method

90 questions of Intellectual Aptitude Test will be literal and non-verbal and logical calculation. These questions will include NRG Classification Recall Series Pattern Hidden Figure etc.

The 90 questions of the Educational Aptitude Test will cover the subjects of Std. 7 and Std. 8 Mathematics Science and Social Sciences. Study for Std. 7 in the last academic year.

As per the rules announced from time to time by Gujarat Public Service Commission, after issuing merit list on the basis of merit among the candidates who have passed the examination, the selected candidates are called for the main examination.  Out of them G candidates selected on the basis of merit are called for interview i.e. face to face interview.  The merit list of the candidates who have successfully passed from these three stages is made and then the candidates are appointed at the place of their choice.In the advertisement provided by Gujarat Public Service Commission this year, various categories have been announced.  Under which Gujarat Government and Gujarat Public Service Commission working with Gujarat Government have made available advertisements of many cadres this year.  Today advertisements have been made available in various contexts. Among them, advertisements of various posts of Gujarat Public Administrative Service Class-I and II have also been issued.  Candidates who have passed the graduation examination in any discipline for Gujarat Public Administration Service Class 1 and 2 issued by the Gujarat Public Service Commission can register their candidature.Any citizen of India who has graduated from any discipline and is qualified as per the norms given in the cadre advertisement can apply for this advertisement to be issued by the Gujarat Public Service Commission.  Just applying for an advertisement in this category does not qualify you for the position.  According to the advertisements of various cadres announced by the Gujarat Public Service Commission, the students or the candidates who have successfully passed the examination held under the seat category have been selected on merit.  The examination is conducted in three phases in total and the candidates who successfully pass these three phases are selected.  First of all, prelim examination is organized in accordance with the syllabus issued by Gujarat Public Service Commission under various cadres.  G Student Friends Students who have successfully passed the prelim examination and are also selected for merit are called for the main examination. Students who have successfully passed the prelim examination and also the main examination are called for face to face interview.
