ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમાનો ઇતિહાસ - ગુરુનો ઇતિહાસ ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિમાં પ્રાચીન છે. ગુરુ સંસ્કૃતમાંથી ઉદ્ભવેલો એક શબ્દ છે. 'ગુ' નો અર્થ અંધકાર અને 'રૂ' નો અર્થ છે અંધકાર દૂર કરવો. આ તહેવાર હિન્દુઓ, જૈનો અને બૌદ્ધ લોકો દ્વારા તેમના ગુરુનું સન્માન અને સન્માન કરીને ઉજવવામાં આવે છે.
