And if you are using the portal for the first time, select New Registration Option (Citizen) in the website https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in.  (If you are using digital gujarat portal first time than select on New Registration Option (Citizen) in the website https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in)) Click here for new registration.


4. Click For New Registration (Citizen) (Click here for new Registration) Clicking on the above button will open a registration form. You will have to fill in the required details like your date of birth, mobile number etc. and create a password.

5. Password must be at least 3 digit alphanumeric.  (Clicking on the above button will open a new registration form fill up the required details like your birthday, mobile no and create a password) (password should be alphanumeric with minimum six digits) Save then click on save button.  (Than after click on save button).

Corona's second wave has broken all records.  The central and state governments are trying to get most people to stay at home.  Lockdowns are in place in many cities, but people sitting in four walls also have to go out to get rations, milk, vegetables, fruits and medicine.  In such a situation they are worried that the coronavirus may not come into the house with them or with the item.  According to research conducted at the University of Florida in the United States, 18% of corona patients are also infecting their household members.  The rate was 7.5% in SARS and only 4.7% in MERS.  So know, the guideline of the American Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to avoid corona while staying at home ...


 Home delivery

 Make sure masks and gloves are worn at the time of delivery.  If this does not happen, do not take delivery and complain to the company concerned.
 Throw away cardboard or plastic packaging when food or groceries arrive at home.
 Throw away the packing material in the trash can kept outside the house.
 Take things out with clean hands and bring them inside the house.
 Wash or sanitize your hands thoroughly with soap.
 Rations or groceries
 Make a list of items: Risk at the store occurs when the item is shown to the shopkeeper or at the time of billing.  So make a list of what you want to buy.
 Also wear gloves: Wear disposable gloves along with masks and distillations, so that if you touch something during the transaction, it will prevent the virus from entering the house.
 Avoid cash or card payments: Pay online after billing.  Also, avoid card payments.  If you do cash transactions, give or take with gloved hands.
 Choose the right time: Choose a time to shop when the shop is less crowded.
 Return home with the item
 Keep a counter or table near the entrance to the house.  Keep it here for a while before bringing it in and disinfect it if it is a packed item.
 If the food is in a tin or plastic container, wash it with soap or water.
 Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly with tap water.
 Do not wash fruits-vegetables, mutton-chicken with soap or bleach or sanitizer.  It can hurt.
 Clean the mobile phone cover by soaking it in alcohol base solution for Rs.
 Wash or sanitize your hands and feet with soap.  Take a bath if possible.
 Wash your clothes with detergent and water.  These clothes can also be washed with other clothes.
 Avoid shopping other than essentials.
 Home service or repair

 Before a plumber, electrician or engineer comes home

 Check local administration guidelines for what types of services are allowed.
 If someone in the home is sick or elderly, isolate them in one of the rooms before the service provider arrives.
 Communicate as many issues as possible, so that the service provider has less time at home.

 Work information and pictures can be sent by phone or email.
 Talk to Carona on the phone about caution.  For example, wearing a mask during a visit, checking your body temperature before entering, or talking about whether or not you are allowed to use the restroom at home.
 When the service provider arrives

 Ask the service provider to go inside wearing a mask.
 If he doesn't have a mask or doesn't wear a mask properly, give him a three-layer disposable mask.

7th Pay Commission: DA to jump by 28%, increased salary in the account by July 1?

More than 50 lakh central government employees and over 65 lakh pensioners across India are waiting for the hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and it is expected that they may see a DA hike of upto 28 percent from 17 percent in July.

1. DA hike
According to the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI), DA of central government employees can be increased by 4 percent. The AICPI report also mention that after the DA is reinstated, the Dearness Allowance of the central employees may increase from 17 percent to 28 percent. This includes a 3 percent increase in DA from January to June 2020, a 4 percent increase from July to December 2020, and a 4 percent increase from January to June 2021. The total DA calculation will then come to (17 + 4 + 3 + 4) 28 percent.

In March, Minister of State for Finance, Anurag Thakur, told Parliament that all Central government employees will get full benefits of DA starting July 1. He had also said that all the three pending installments will be restored prospectively.

3. Arrears of Central government employees

Any increase in DA from July 1 will only be effective from that day, which means the Central government employees are set to miss their arrears.


4. Reason behind DA freeze

The three installments of DA due on January 1, 2020, July 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021, were frozen in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a written reply to the Rajya Sabha, Thakur said: "As and when the decision to release the future installments of Dearness Allowance due from 01.07.2021 is taken, the rates of DA as effective from 01.01.2020, 01.07.2020 and 01.01. 2021 will be restored prospectively and will be subsumed in the cumulative revised rates effective from 01.07.2021."

5. Salary increase

The Central government employees should keep in mind 7th CPC Fitment Factor of 2.57 while calculating the probable hike in monthly salary.

Thus, if there is an official announcement by the central government to keep schools closed till October. So it will be implemented in Gujarat also and due to this the first session of schools i.e. curriculum till Diwali vacation cannot be completed due to non-commencement of schools.

Now, if schools start after Diwali, it will be impossible to complete a two-semester course in one session. So the state education department is also planning to reduce the curriculum in that situation. The curriculum will be reduced based on how many days of study the students get, the sources said. However, this cannot be decided at present. It will be decided on the basis of the remaining days of study after the commencement of schools.
