India has reported 75 positive cases of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, with authorities taking emergency measures to contain its spread like shutting down schools, colleges and cinema halls in the national capital and some other places.
World Map:

The United States on Thursday surpassed 1,600 confirmed or presumptive cases of the coronavirus, and the death toll climbed to 41. Kansas reported its first death Thursday.
Wall Street recorded historic losses as fears intensified over the economic fallout from the pandemic, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling by 10 percent, and the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 both down by 9 percent.
It was the worst point drop ever for the Dow and its worst performance since the market crash in 1987.
The Trump administration announced a series of steps to boost the availability of coronavirus testing, after facing heated, bipartisan criticism. Still, concerns about the pandemic rippled across the globe, as more events were canceled (including the Masters); U.S. schools closed to millions of students; landmarks continued to shutter (the Louvre is among the latest); and a top Australian official tested positive for the virus just days after meeting with U.S. Attorney General William P. Barr in Washington.

Govt launches COVID-19 tracking app 'Aarogya Setu' for Android, iOS users

The app, which works on both Android and iOS, will calculate a person's interaction with others, using Bluetooth technology,  .

The ministry of electronics and IT  launched a mobile app on Thursday called AarogyaSetu which will help people in identifying the risk of getting affected by the CoronaVirus.


The app built through public private partnership "assesses themselves the risk for their catching the Corona Virus infection. It will calculate this based on their interaction with others, using cutting edge Bluetooth technology, algorithms and artificial intelligence," an official statement said.


Once installed in a smart phone, the app detects other nearby devices with AarogyaSetu installed. The app can then calculate the risk of infection based on sophisticated parameters if any of these contacts is testedpositive.

The App is aimed at augmenting the initiatives of the Government of India, particularly the Department of Health, in proactively reaching out to and informing the users of the app regarding risks, best practices and relevant advisories pertaining to the containment of COVID-19.

The state government has made a big announcement on the issue of farmer loan financing. In which the Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel made this announcement.

The state government will bear the burden of paying a total of 160 crores of subsidy in the state of Gujarat. Equal benefit will be given to 24 lakh farmers of Gujarat. Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel made this important announcement about the farmers of Gujarat, vishesh and said that the limit of refund of farmers' credit amount will be increased for 2 months. Usually, March 31st, there is a date for the return of credit every year, and then every year there is a new credit going on. But in view of the epidemic crisis which has been jeopardized this year, the Gujarat State Government has fixed the date for repayment of the loan by May 31, 2020, extending its limit for two months.
