In the new National Education Policy-2020, the board examination will continue in Std-10 and Std-12.  (Board clarification)

“National Education Policy-2020 Curriculum and Pedagogy in School: Learning Should be Holistic, Integrated Enjoyable, and Engaging." The following details are given in paragraph which are reproduced below.

 While the Board exams for Grades 10 and 12 will be continued, the existing system of Board and entrance examinations shall be reformed to eliminate the need for undertaking coaching classes. To reverse these harmful effects of the current assessment system, Board exams will be redesigned to encourage holistic development; students will be able to choose many of the subjects in which they take Board exams, depending on their individualized interests. Board exams will also be made 'easier', in the g sense that they will test primarily core capacities/competencies rather than months of coaching and memorization; any student who has been going to and making a basic effort in a school class will be able to pass and do well in the corresponding subject Board Exam without much additional effort. Tofurther eliminate the high stakes' aspect of Board Exams, all students will beallowed to take Board Exams on up to two occasions during any given schoolyear, one main examination and one for improvement, if desired."

Attention is drawn to the facts mentioned in the National Education Policy 2020, All concerned are requested to take note. National Education Policy_2020 published by Ministry of"National Education Policy 2020 - Chapter-4 - Curriculum and pedagogy in school: learning should be holistic, relevant, enjoyable and active."

 The existing system of board and entrance examinations will be amended to eliminate the need for coaching classes.  While the board examination for standard 10 and 12 will be continued.  The board's examination structure will be restructured to eliminate these harmful effects of the current assessment system and to promote the holistic development of students;  Students will be able to choose board exam subjects from many subjects based on their personal interests.  Board exams will also be made 'easier'.  Simple in the sense that those exams will test abilities and qualifications rather than coaching or teaching.  Any student who is going to school and trying to study in school will be able to pass the board exam and do well without extra effort.  To eliminate the risk of spoiling the board exam year, all students will be able to take the board exam twice during any school year.  For a major exam and an improvement if desired. The central government announced penalties for those who did not link Aadhaar and Pan by March 31

Big announcement from Income Tax Department regarding Aadhaar and PAN card linking

 Aadhaar-Pan link has to be done by 31st March

 Failure to do so will result in a fine of Rs.500 to Rs.1000

 The central government has now announced fines after extending the date for linking Aadhaar and PAN cards several times.  The CBDT has issued a notification asking for Aadhaar-Pan card linking by March 31 or else pay a fine.  The Income Tax Department has announced that those who do not link Aadhaar and PAN cards by March 31, 2022 will be fined Rs 500 to Rs 1,000.  The last date to link a page with Aadhaar is March 31, 2022.  Failure to do so by this date may result in cancellation of PAN card.

In a notification, the CBDT said that a late fee of Rs 500 would be levied for non-reporting of Aadhar-Pan link after March 31. If Aadhar-Pan is linked for next 3 months or June 30, 2022, the penalty would be levied.  Taxpayers will have to pay Rs.1000 as penalty after this period.

 According to the notification of the Income Tax Department, a fine of Rs.500 will be levied in the first three stages after April 1, 2022 and a fine of Rs.1000 will be levied if the Aadhaar page is not linked even after that.  If the Aadhaar page is not linked within the stipulated period, the PAN card may be canceled.

2. દરેક શાળાઓએ બાયસેગની કનેક્ટિવિટી ચેક કરી લેવી. ગ્રુપમાં જાણ કરવી.

3. ધો.6 થી 8, 9 થી 11 અને આશ્રમશાળાના વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ કાર્યક્રમ ફરજીયાત નિહાળવાનો રહેશે.

 All the primary and secondary schools in the state have summer and Diwali vacations every year as per the date indicated in the school activity calendar published by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.  Accordingly, summer vacation has been fixed in all the primary schools, government and grant aided teaching temples, children's teaching temples, self-reliant PTC colleges in the current academic year on the following dates in the current academic year.

 Spend the summer vacation time

 In this regard, the District Education Officer and the District Primary Education Officer will have to announce the vacation dates in coordination so that the vacation dates of primary, secondary and school children can remain the same.  The District Education Officer will have to report this letter to Government and Granted Teaching Temples, Children Teaching Temples, Self Supporting PTC Colleges as well as all the schools under your jurisdiction.
