 the importance of home learning is proving to be very important for every student at a time when primary schools, high schools and secondary and higher secondary schools as well as colleges are closed.  Considering the current situation of Corona, students from Std. 1 to Std. 12 are being imparted online education through DD Girnar and through Diksha Portal.  It is planned by the government that all students can take education at home.In view of the present situation, the government has made arrangements for all the students to get education at home.  This system is known as home learning by the government. 

For the purpose of providing education to the children by the government, the children can get education from home through DD Girnar through youtube channel as well as through the Diksha portal application prepared.  Students who do not have smartphones available can take their education at home on DD GIRANAR TV or even through the Baysag channel.  The government has provided user ID and password of the application called Microsoft Team to all the students studying in the schools. 

All the teachers of the school have also been provided with the user ID and password of Microsoft application in the same way prepared by the government.  Teachers and students can also learn from home by logging in using the user ID and password provided in the Microsoft team.  School teachers have to prepare Microsoft's timetable.  The timetable created by the Microsoft team is delivered to the students.  This provides online education to children corresponding to the timetable.  The students of the school can also take education at home with the help of Microsoft team.  Efforts are being made by the government to ensure that students are not deprived of education by using various applications and mediums.  This task has been responsibly assigned to all the officers involved in education so that not a single student of the state of Gujarat will be deprived of education.Arrangements have been made to make all the links for online education accessible to all the students of the school through all the teachers involved in the field of education, Principal Shri O and BRC CRC Coordinator.

  Arrangements have also been made by the government for the evaluation of what students are learning through home learning through online learning.  Home learning has been arranged by the government for students who are currently unable to attend school due to the Corona epidemic.  Arrangements are made by the government in advance for the students to watch the educational programs on DD Girnar.  Students can take education at home based on DD Girnar schedule.  It is also provided by the government to all students to learn at home.  All the learning outcomes that students learn through Om Learning can be verified from this home by how much they have achieved the learning outcomes.  When a student learns at home, fills or writes a book at home in his own way, he realizes that I have not yet reached any study conclusion.  Even when the school teachers make telephonic contact with the students, the teachers do their best to solve all the problems in the education of the students.  Students are also being given a unit test.  The unit test is taken to students on Saturday.

The decision to open Std 10 and 12 schools from January 11 was taken at a cabinet meeting, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama announced today.  The state government has started preparations to start schools as per the central government’s Corona guideline.  It has been decided to start classes from January 10 and 12, PG and last year's college.

 All Gujarat boards, government, secondary schools will be started, only Std. 10 and 12 classes will be started, besides final year classes of the college will be started.  Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said during a press conference that the attendance of students is not mandatory after the commencement of schools.  As well as the consent of the parents is not required.  He said that at present no decision has been taken to give mass promotion in standard 1 to 8.  In addition, the schedule of the examination will be announced later.  The number of courses taught will be the same as the number of courses taught.  Online education will continue in schools.  In addition, as per the SOP of the Central Government, social distance has to be observed, schools have to arrange thermal guns and soap.  Chudasama said other standards would also be considered in the near future.


 Schools and parents have to take care of these things

 Sanitation facility has to be provided in every campus before starting school-colleges.
 Students should be provided with thermal gun checking, sanitizer and soap arrangements for hand washing.
 Social distance should be maintained in the classrooms and in the school-college complex.  Not only that, the mask should be used compulsorily.
 It is also important to ensure that medical services are available within close proximity to the school-college.
 Following the SOP of the Government of India, the online education system provided by the schools and colleges in the state will remain the same.
 The SOP will be applicable to all government, grant-in-aid and self-finance schools, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, social justice and empowerment department as well as Adi Jati Vikas department schools of all the boards in the state.
 From November 23, Std-9 to 12 schools as well as PG, Medical-Paramedical and undergraduate final year classes will start in the state.
 The government will announce later to take appropriate decision in time to start the academic work of the remaining classes-standards.
 Student attendance at school is not mandatory.
 Institutions must also obtain the written consent of the student's parents or guardians to attend school.
 Students will also be asked to bring their own masks, water bottles, books, snacks, etc. from home and not to interact with other students.
 According to the revised seating arrangement in the classroom, there should be a distance of at least 6 feet between the two students.
 The principal-principal will have to arrange for the students to come in stages so that there is no overcrowding in the school-college campus.
 For this purpose, the state government has asked to make arrangements for Odd-Even i.e. three days a week for Std. 9th and 11th and three days for 10 and 12 in the school as per requirement.



 It is also suggested that students come to school on the scheduled days of the week and do homework assignments on the remaining days.
 It is also advised not to play sports or any other group activity on the field of mass prayer.
 Parents will be encouraged to use their personal transportation to get the child to and from school.
 Students who use public transport will also be given appropriate precautionary guidance from the school.

GCERT was shifted from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar, the State Capital in 1997. State Education Department has allotted separate land for the GCERT for building in sector-12. Hence the GCERT has been functioning in the newly constructed building “VIDYA BHAVAN” in sector-12 with modern infrastructure and latest equipment since 21st August 2004 in view of the widening horizon.

Under the umbrella of GCERT, there are now 27 DIETs (District Institute of Education and Training) functional in 33 Districts. These DIETs impart pre-service and in-service training to the primary teachers of the State. There are seven branches namely Pre-service Teacher Education (PSTE), Work Experience (WE), District Resource Unit (DRU), Curriculum Material Development & Evaluation (CMDE), Educational Technology (ET), In-service Field interaction Innovation & Co-ordination (IFIC) and Planning & Management PM functioning in these DIETs. These DIETs are well equipped with qualified and experienced academic and administrative staff.
