All primary and secondary secondary schools of Gujarat state have witnessed fluctuations in number of days of first semester and second semester during the academic year.


In accordance with the provisions of the Free and Compulsory Education Rights Act 2009 RTEF 2009, the provision of educational work of not less than 200 days in standard 5 to 5 and 220 days in standard 1 to 7 has been provided.             Various educational activities and practices have been undertaken by the state government and g c e r t from the beginning of the year for the purpose of improving the quality of primary school.  As part of this, a periodic evaluation test has been started in the first semester and second semester.  A booklet has been issued for every child in every elementary school in the state for every assessment day in which the unit test is conducted every fifteen days in children in grades one through five.  The standard test in standard 1 to 7 has given an incredible increase in children's thinking and imagination.

According to the above subject and reference, the Department of Education, Gujarat State has started this year's reading study for standard reading of students in grades 1 through 5 for this year.  In which, the activities of oral language practice based on the oral storytelling in Std. I to VIII and the activities of the language from the second semester are conducted in the school during September-October 2019.
            VANCHAN-ARTHGRAHAN SPARDHA;-2020

The Reading Competition has been organized under this campaign.  In which there will be an oral reading and reading comprehension competition.  The following are planned to be held at the school plaster taluka and district level.
This competition is for students in Gujarati medium government school.  

The competition will be held at the school level during 24th February 25, 2020.  One in2 winners from standard 3 to 5 from each school and one in 2 from grade 1 to 5 will be selected.

At the cluster level, the competition will have to be held one day during the 24th to 25th February 2020. Two winning students from three to five from each area and one to two from standard 6 to 8 will go to the taluka level.

At the taluka level, the competition will be held one day from 2Nd to 3rd March 2020.

The competition will be held at district level one day from March 5 to 2020.  District level planning will be DIET.
