There will be recruitment of teachers in primary schools in the state

 The state government will recruit 3300 teachers in primary schools, 1300 teachers in standard 1 to 5, 2000 teachers in standard 6 to 8.  The state government will recruit within the next two months.  The government will recruit teachers in Std. 6th to 8th according to the proper qualification of the subject.

 The question was asked about unemployment in the budget session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly.  In this question, the government said that there are  educated unemployed and  semi-educated unemployed in the state with a total of 4,12,985 unemployed.  In two years, 1,777 unemployed have been given government jobs alone.

 The state government has decided to directly recruit teachers in primary schools in the state. The recruitment process of teachers in Gujarati medium primary and upper primary schools is underway.  The recruitment process will be carried out in the next 2 months.

 Taxation: Dispute-to-trust scheme

 The government has extended the deadline for payment under its direct tax dispute resolution scheme 'Vivad Se Vishwas scheme' by two months to June 30 due to the Koro epidemic.  According to the CBDT, the time to pay the arrears under the Direct Tax Disputes Trust Act, 2020, without any additional amount, has been extended to June 30, 2021.  Pending cases can also be settled by paying 100 per cent of the disputed tax and 25 per cent of the disputed penalty or interest or fee.

The Ministry of Education, Department of upper Education today launched YUVA- Prime Minister’s Scheme For Mentoring Young Authors, an Author Mentorship programme to coach young and budding authors (below 30 years of age) so as to market reading, writing and book culture within the country, and project India and Indian writings globally.

The launch of YUVA (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors) is in tune with PM’s vision to encourage young writers to write down about India's freedom struggle. it had been during Mann ki Baat on 31 January 2021, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi called upon the young generation to write down about freedom fighters, incidents related to freedom, the saga of valour during the amount of freedom struggle in their respective areas - because the best tribute to the heroes of India's freedom - as we celebrate 75 years of Indian Independence.

Highlights of YUVA (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors):

A total of 75 authors are going to be selected through an All India Contest to be conducted through https://www.mygov.in/ from 1 June - 31 July 2021.

The winners are going to be announced on 15 August 2021.

The young authors are going to be trained by eminent authors/mentors.

Under the mentorship, the manuscripts are going to be readied by 15 Dec. 2021 for publication.

The published books are going to be launched on 12 January 2022 on the occasion of National Youth Day (Yuva Diwas).

A consolidated scholarship of Rs.50,000 per month for a period of six months per author are going to be paid under the Mentorship Scheme

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced the launch of the YUVA Mentoring scheme, a programme which will help young authors pursue their love for writing by promoting the Indian heritage and history through their works.

PM Modi said that the scheme aimed toward creating a pool of under-30 authors to market Indian heritage, culture and knowledge offers an "interesting opportunity" for kids to harness their writing skills and contribute to the nation's intellectual discourse.

The selection are going to be made by a Committee to be constituted by NBT

The contest will run from 4th June to 31st July 2021.

The names of selected authors are going to be announced on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August 2021.
