Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman addressed a press conference in New Delhi on Wednesday afternoon in which she outlined a package for the Self-Reliant India Campaign.

Government of India will provide conditional share of employers and employers till August. More than 72 lakh employees will benefit 3.66 lakh units. Rs. 90,000 crore will be provided to NBFCs, housing finance companies and micro finance institutions. A special liquidity scheme of Rs 30,000 crore will be introduced. The Ministry of Urban Development will issue guidelines to the state governments and provide relief to builders for six months by considering Covid-19 as an 'Act of God'. Financial liquidity of Rs 50,000 crore will increase. By December 31, 2020, the 'Dispute to Trust Scheme' has been extended. After all the announcements, Rs. Where the Rs 20 lakh crore will come from will be announced as the date for filing returns has been extended. Collection figures will be available only after June 30

Lockdown-3 is set to expire today. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi first announced the lockdown on March 24, there were about 300 patients with corona virus in the country.

Today, about 53 days later, the total number of people infected with the corona virus in the country has reached over 90,000. While the number of active cases of corona virus in the country is 53946. 34108 people have been treated and 2872 people have died during the treatment.

Several state governments want complete shutdowns only in containment zones allowing space for the resumption of almost all activities, except large social gatherings and educational institutions, during lockdown 4.0.

The third phase of the lockdown in the country due to the Coronavirus epidemic is coming to an end on May 17, i.e. today. So far, it is clear from the signal received from the central government that Lockdown 4.0 will start, which may last till May 31.

The Home Ministry may issue new guidelines at any time today regarding this Lockdown 4.0. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has hinted at increasing the lockdown in his national address. But the PM also said that Lockdown 4 would be completely new, with a number of changes to be made.

Officials in several states said the guidelines defining containment zones, a key guidance document for enforcing lockdown 4.0, would come by Saturday and it was likely to divide a district into red, orange and green zones, unlike the existing methodology of categorizing an entire district as red, orange or green.

What could be in Lockdown 4.0

- Citizens have to take care of their own health and safety

- The economy will be focused on Lockdown 4.0

- States can be exempted from the Center

- Travel and industries can be exempted in the green zone

- Also allowed to run buses and taxis in the green zone

- Tourist train will not start at present

- But special trains and labor trains will continue as before and the number and route will be increased

- Domestic airline service may also be considered on some routes from 18 May
