In Gujarat State Portal, many applications for farmer oriented schemes are made online on iKhedut Portal. The farmer registration of the state can be done through his own gram panchayat. After registering on I-Farmer, I can avail the benefits of Agriculture Schemes, Animal Husbandry Schemes, Horticulture Schemes and Fisheries Schemes.


The purpose of the scheme

Direct resource assistance will be provided to the farmers of the state for various uses so that the beneficiary farmers can increase the farm income by availing the benefits. Beneficiary farmers under this khedut yojana will be given drums as well as two plastic baskets (tubs) free of cost.

Under this scheme, online application has to be made on i-farmer portal. Beneficiary should have cultivable land for this scheme and should have land registration certificate.


Benefits available under the scheme

This tool assistance will be provided after the beneficiary farmer registers online on ikhedut portal. In which farmers will be given 200 liter plastic drums for various purposes as well as two 10 liter plastic kit kits free of cost.

Documents required for the plan

   The i-khedut portal 2021 has recently started accepting online applications for various government schemes. The following documents are required for the application of this scheme on i-farmer portal.


1. Copy of Aadhaar card


2. Copy of 7/12 and 8-A of land


3. Copy of ration card


4. Certificate of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (if applicable)


5. Certificate of Disability for Disabled Account Holders (if applicable)


6. In the case of a joint account holder, another account holder


7. Copy of Forest Rights Letter (if applicable)


How to apply

Farmer friends have to apply ikhedut online to get drums and two plastics free of cost. This online application can be done from different places.


Online application for farmer oriented schemes can be done at village level through VCE.

The scheme can also be availed online from those operating online in the city or rural area.

ikhedut portal Registration Step by Step

Farmers will have to apply online to avail various farmer oriented schemes. For which i-Farmer - Web Portal has been created by Government of Gujarat. This portal is created through Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-Operation Department. We will know the details of how to make online entry of government schemes of various farmers as follows.


First, search the iFarmer portal in the Google Search Box. Or open this website https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/.

As a result, the first number will have a plan called a drum as well as two plastic baskets (tubs) in which to click on "Apply".

Now the scheme of drums and two plastic baskets (tubs) will open where further information has to be filled by answering "You are a registered applicant" in yes or no.

You will have to fill in the details of the application by entering the Aadhaar card number and mobile number instead of selecting "Yes" in the registered applicant. And if "No" is selected then click on "Apply New Application".

Fill in all the information like applicant's name, address, bank account details, ration card details, ikhedut 7/12 etc. and click on "Save Application".

After the application is confirmed, the beneficiary farmer has to print the application.

It is mandatory to take a print of the application. After printing the online application, the beneficiary has to sign / thumb print the application at the office / office address mentioned on the application and submit it within 7 days from the date of application.


After I-khedut portal registration, if the farmer beneficiary does not want to go to the office in person, the beneficiary has to sign / stamp the print and then upload it by clicking on "Click to upload the signed copy of the application print". And another document can be uploaded by clicking to upload other documents of the beneficiary.

Uploading scanned copy in PDF format should not exceed 200 kb in size.

Special instruction regarding ikhedut

The method of farmer registration has changed in i-farmer portal from the year 2018-19.

In the new registration process, the eligibility of the application will be decided by giving the Aadhaar card number and mobile number while applying online.

For direct registration, the farmer will be able to register by providing land account details, bank account details, Aadhaar card number as well as mobile number. The details of which have to be submitted to the nearest officer.

Whether the farmer is registered or not, application can be made on ikhedut portal.

If you have khedut registration and say yes then you have to provide Aadhaar number and mobile number. In which an OTP will come on your Mobile Number. After entering the OTP (One Time Password), provide the farmer's information in the application and you will come online.

If you are applying for the first time from the year 2018-19 without registering as a farmer, you will have to provide the Aadhaar number and mobile number while applying online and Xerox the Aadhaar number at the nearest office to determine the eligibility of the application.

The farmer will be registered after verification by his nearest officer. At that time the registration message will come to your mobile via SMS.

 The application will not be updated after the application is confirmed on ikhedut portal.

Once the application is confirmed, the print of the application can be taken.

If the name is not found in the Bank List, contact the nearest Agriculture Office.

The Government of India is making efforts to provide life protection to the citizens of the country. "Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Vima Yojana" has been implemented for the people between the ages of 18 and 50 in the country. In which for this scheme one has to pay Rs.330 per annum from his bank account. Which can also be auto-debited for the coming year. Benefit of insurance cover under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana If a person dies due to any cause (natural / accident), an sum assured of Rs. 2.00 lakh will be available.


The benefits of PMJJBY (Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana) are available only to Indian citizens. And those who have a savings account in a bank can be associated with this scheme. The customer will have to submit a health certificate from the doctor to the bank.


When is the PMJJBY plan premium due?

The annual premium of Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Vima Yojana is to be paid on 31st May. Or Auto-Debit if premium has been paid earlier. If you do not have a bank balance at the end of May, the policy is canceled.


Who is eligible for PMJJBY scheme?

Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana Benefit is available to the citizen of India. Under this scheme, in case of death of a person due to natural or accident, Rs. 2.00 lakh will be given. The sum insured will go to the family of the deceased.


People between the ages of 18 and 50 will benefit from this scheme.

The scheme will be available in any one bank even if the person has an account in other banks.

Aadhaar card should be linked with bank account.

The beneficiary should have paid the mandatory premium of Rs.50 by May 31 and made an entry in the bank passbook for verification.

As the scheme is Auto-Debit, it is mandatory for the bank to have a minimum balance for premium.

The Gujarat government is going to launch a digital service bridge in the program. The aim is to simplify government work in this direction. Digital service bridge program will be started in 2700 villages out of 3500 villages of Gujarat and in 167 talukas. The service, which will start on October 8, will cover 8000 villages by December and will make 22 services digitally available. These 22 services include ration card, widow certificate, proof of temporary residence, proof of income.

Regarding this, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that an affidavit regarding this service can be made to Talati. You no longer need to go to a notary for that. The state government has decided to give the power of affidavit to Talati for these services. 3500 villages are to be placed on this platform, though 2700 villages have been included due to by-election work. Gujarat will be the only and first state in India to provide such service. 14000 gram panchayats will be phased out. All gram panchayats will be covered by next year. This is a total project of Rs 2,000 crore, in which 90 per cent of the cost is borne by the central government, and 10 per cent by the state 



At the time of making this announcement, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has claimed that the least corruption is in Gujarat. He said that while Gujarat has got a weapon like digital service bridge to reduce corruption, corruption will be reduced in the coming days.

In remote rural areas of the state, it has been decided to start an innovative experiment of digital service bridge in the state using modern technology so that the public interest services of various departments of the government are available from the village level to the gram panchayat itself. Rural citizens do not have to rush to the taluka-district headquarters for day-to-day services or certificates, for example, time and round-trip vehicle rental costs are saved as well as a variety of services at the primary stage with prices that do not go wrong. It has been decided to start in 2 thousand gram panchayats from next 5th October by covering Sevasetu. It is decided to cover more than 6000 gram panchayats in this digital service bridge by December 2020.



The most important thing in the digital service bridge is that connections will be provided through optical fiber network so that high speed internet of 100 MBPS is easily available in the villages of the state.

So far, 42 km panchayats of 27 districts have been covered by 31 km underground optical fiber network.

Not only that, every gram panchayat is connected to the state data center. Thus, the innovative concept of making the villages of Gujarat a mini secretariat has been adopted in this digital service bridge.

From now on, services like registration, enrollment or correction or getting duplicate ration card, income proof, senior citizen sample, criminal certificate, caste certificate only from the service center of gram panchayat service from gram panchayat office. You will get a nominal fee of Rs.


It has also made a radical decision that rural citizens do not have to go to the taluka level or town notary in the town for affidavits for such instances.

Powers will be given to the Gram Panchayat Talati cum Minister at the village level to affidavit the affidavit to be done as per the provisions of Section 3 of the Oaths Act, 1969. So that affidavits can be made available to the rural citizens from the village itself in the gram panchayat

        When a child is 10 years of age or younger, he / she will have to open a separate bank account in the child's name, in which assistance will be paid through DBT.

 Under this scheme, if the main breadwinner of the family dies due to natural causes or accident, the following central assistance will be available.

 In case of death due to natural circumstances, Rs.  50,000 / -

 In case of death due to accident, Rs.  50,000 / -


 Provision has been made in the scheme to provide higher cash assistance to the family in case of any calamity.  Earlier, under this scheme, Rs.  10,000 / - was given.  By increasing the amount to Rs.  50OOO / - has been done.

 In case of such death, the main earner (he or she) should be above 18 years of age and below 30 years of age.

 The application has to be made in the prescribed form within the limit of two years after death.  To be eligible for assistance under this scheme, the applicant beneficiary should be a BPL beneficiary as per the guideline of Government of India.  If the applicant lives in a rural area, he should be registered as a BPL beneficiary in the village panchayat, in the municipality or in the municipal area, in the office of the municipality or corporation.

 Postmortem report of the person involved in the accident, police complaint, copy of Punchnama has to be attached with the application form.

 Only one person as the head of the deceased family has to apply as an applicant and all the members of the family have to give their consent.  This assistance is not available to each family member separately.

 The definition of family for the purpose of this scheme includes spouses, minor children, unmarried daughters and dependent parents.

 For an urban area one has to apply to the provincial office of that area.

 For Gram Panchayat Area - Under this scheme application has to be made to the Deputy District Development Officer.

 For Municipal Corporation Area - Commissioner UCD in Municipal Corporation Office.  Must apply at the branch.  The authority to sanction assistance under this scheme is vested in the above officer and the application form will also be available from his office.

The Ministry of Education, Department of upper Education today launched YUVA- Prime Minister’s Scheme For Mentoring Young Authors, an Author Mentorship programme to coach young and budding authors (below 30 years of age) so as to market reading, writing and book culture within the country, and project India and Indian writings globally.
The launch of YUVA (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors) is in tune with PM’s vision to encourage young writers to write down about India's freedom struggle. it had been during Mann ki Baat on 31 January 2021, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi called upon the young generation to write down about freedom fighters, incidents related to freedom, the saga of valour during the amount of freedom struggle in their respective areas - because the best tribute to the heroes of India's freedom - as we celebrate 75 years of Indian Independence.

Highlights of YUVA (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors):

A total of 75 authors are going to be selected through an All India Contest to be conducted through https://www.mygov.in/ from 1 June - 31 July 2021.



The winners are going to be announced on 15 August 2021.

The young authors are going to be trained by eminent authors/mentors.

Under the mentorship, the manuscripts are going to be readied by 15 Dec. 2021 for publication.

The published books are going to be launched on 12 January 2022 on the occasion of National Youth Day (Yuva Diwas).

A consolidated scholarship of Rs.50,000 per month for a period of six months per author are going to be paid under the Mentorship Scheme

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced the launch of the YUVA Mentoring scheme, a programme which will help young authors pursue their love for writing by promoting the Indian heritage and history through their works.

PM Modi said that the scheme aimed toward creating a pool of under-30 authors to market Indian heritage, culture and knowledge offers an "interesting opportunity" for kids to harness their writing skills and contribute to the nation's intellectual discourse.

The selection are going to be made by a Committee to be constituted by NBT

The contest will run from 4th June to 31st July 2021.

The contestants are going to be asked to submit a manuscript of 5,000 words to guage its suitability to develop as a correct book under the Mentorship Scheme

The names of selected authors are going to be announced on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August 2021.
