NMMS – National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship is a Centrally sponsored scholarship scheme. It is implemented by the Department of School Education & Literacy under the Ministry of Human Resource Development with the objective to financially support the meritorious students of economically weaker sections of the society. NMMS encourages disadvantaged students to continue their studies at the secondary level by offering a scholarship amount of INR 12,000 per annum. Every year, this MCM scholarship is made active during the month of November and almost 100,000 scholarships are disbursed among bright students.

NMMS – Award

NMMS disburses a total of 100,000 scholarships every year at the rate of INR 12,000 per annum, i.e. INR 1,000 per month, to the selected students. Under National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship, the scholarship amount is paid by the State bank of India (SBI) on one go. The amount is directly transferred into the students’ accounts through Public Financial Management System (PFMS). The number of scholarships allocated to each State and UT is done on the basis of students’ enrolment in class 7 & 8 and their population in the respective states. The details of the NMMS amount are highlighted below.
The students of class 9 receive a scholarship amount on one go, i.e. INR 12,000 per annual, for an academic year.
The scholarship is renewed every year till the student completes his/her Higher Secondary level of education (Class 12), provided the candidate gets clear promotion into higher class every year.

 NOTIFICATION OF  "NATIONAL MEANS CUM MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

Scholarship Amount and Placement Rules: After the examination, the students who come to Merit in the district-wise fixed quota of Rs.  1ooo / Land to Rs.  12000 '.  Scholarships are available to eligible students for four years.

 The amount of scholarship will be paid to eligible students as per IIRD guidelines by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, MH, RD), New Delhi,  Scholarship amount M!  Beneficiary students will be directly credited to the bank account by IRD through National Scholarship IPortal.  Eligibility of students: Students studying in Government Primary Schools, Local Body Schools, District Panchayat Municipalities / Municipal Schools) and Granted Primary Schools in Std. 8 in the current academic year will be able to appear for S.A51.s examination.

General Category and Prof. B.C.  Category students should have obtained at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Std-9, Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students should have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in Std-8.  • Annual income of parents of students of all categories is Rs.  Only those who are not more than 150,000 / - will be able to give Vidya examination

Private Schools / Self Finance Schools), Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and residential schools run by state government institutions which provide accommodation and study facilities will not be able to fill up the application form in this examination.  A. Income Limit As decided for NMMS examination, the annual income of the candidate's guardian should not be more than Rs.1,50,000.

  Fee Acceptance Center:  Fee printing fee can be paid after filling the application form in Gujarat's Posturized Post Office as Fee Acceptance Center, two parts of the printed currency in three parts will be refunded by the Post Office.  The receiver issued by the post office to the payer of the fee by the post office will have to check whether the fee has been paid from the confirmation number or not.  

Online Payment Gateway will be able to pay the examination fee from "Ans: Alp / NT BANKIN. To submit the fee online, click on" Rint Application / Challi "and fill in the details.  Then click on “Dollhar T.yw1Pwt”.  Then in the given options, select the appropriate option from the option "Net liltings of fer" or other Travuneit lawle and fill in the next details. In order of study: • 20 questions of NAT Intellectual Aptitude Test will be of literal and non-verbal logical calculation.  PLER (Analogy) in these questions.  qalsze (Classification), nivells del (Numerical Series).  Det (Pattern Perception] etc.  Qualifying Marks: General and OBC category students will have to get a total of 90% marks in both the sections and both SCC and ST category students will have to get a total of 90% marks in both the sections.  Out of the total qualifying marks obtained in the department, out of the students who get qualifying marks, only the students who come in merit as per the quota fixed by district-category will be eligible for the scholarship.

The medium examination is will be English as well as Gujarati.  Given the question paper of the medium which the student will choose,

This test will be of Multiple Choice Question - Multiple Choice Question - MCQ Based.  Each question will have one mark, There will be no negative assessment in the assessment of these criteria.

Blind students will be given an extra 20 minutes IN Nmms exam 2020

Teachers working with Key Stage pupils might, for instance, focus on the subject content of science and develop science skills from these areas of experience. This product centred approach could, for example, give rise to oral explanations and demonstrations of scientific knowledge, and, from time to time, practical activities designed to provide direct experience of phenomena with opportunities to explore and investigate these phenomena. In providing a conceptual structure to help the learner build a functional mental representation, the teacher highlights what is relevant and the nature of the relationships between the elements. For example, the teacher might explain the compressibility of air in a bicycle pump by describing it as dispersed particles which may be brought closer or else by comparing it with the behaviour of a spring.
In contrast, teachers might focus on the processes of science and develop scientific conceptual understanding from it. This process-centred approach could, for instance, offer the children experiments and investigations as starting points for acquiring conceptual knowledge with little or no direct teaching of concepts. In this case a conceptual structure is withheld. The onus is on the children to recall or construct a functional mental representation without reference to a teachers' description of one. Pupils might infer relationships in the topic under study and may be given an opportunity to test and revise their ideas.
Of course, other teachers might focus on a combination of these two approaches and develop scientific skills and conceptual understanding from in this combination. This mixed approach could be a balance or, perhaps, a compromise, between a product-centred and a process-centred approach, in which the teacher provides a partial conceptual structure and leaves the remainder for children to construct by inferring, hypothesising, or testing their ideas. It could encourage lessons where children do investigations with some features already identified by the teacher, and with some conceptual knowledge about the subject that enables them to appreciate the purpose of the activity. In contrast, it could encourage lessons without a clear purpose which mixed different types of activity, but did not develop either conceptual or procedure understanding exclusively..

NOTIFICATION OF "NATIONAL MEANS CUM MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME" DECALERE DATE:-06/11/2020


Bright students with poor financial status in the state can complete their studies up to Std-12.  And to reduce the drop out rate in such secondary and higher secondary schools, a scheme called National Means cum Merit Scholarship has been implemented by MHRD New Delhi for the students studying in Std. 8 of the primary school.This examination is organized by State Examination Board Gandhinagar on Sunday 28/2/2021.
Scholarship amount and payment rules
Students coming in district wise category in the examination will be paid Rs. 1000 per month.  Thus, students with regular eligibility for four years at the rate of Rs. 12000 per annum will be eligible for the scholarship.
The scholarship amount will be paid by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, New Delhi to the eligible students as per the guidelines of MHRD.
Scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary students through MHRD through National Scholarship Portal.
Qualification of the student
In the current academic year, all the students studying in Std. VIII for Government Primary Schools, Local Body Schools, District Panchayat Municipal Corporation or Municipal Schools and Granted Primary Schools can appear for the NMMS examination.
 General category and OBC category students should have obtained at least 55% marks or equivalent marks in standard seven.
The annual income of the guardians of all categories of students should not exceed one lakh and fifty thousand.
Private Schools Private Schools Cell Finance Schools Kendriya Vidyalaya Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and students of residential schools run by state government institutions in which accommodation and study facilities are provided will not be able to fill up the application form.
Examination fee
Examination Fee For General Category and OBC Category students the examination fee will be Rs 70.  
For AC and ST category students the exam will be Rs.50.  
Fees paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
.Fee acceptance center
After filling the application form of Computer Post Office of Gujarat as a fee hunting center, its challan can be printed and filled.  Two of the three-part printed currency will be returned by the post office.  The payee from the post office will have to check with the receipt given by the post office whether it is made from the confirmation number or not.
Examination fee can also be paid through ATM Card Net Banking through Online Payment Gateway. Click on Print Application Currency and fill in the details for online deposit.  Then click on Online Payment. Then select the appropriate option from the options of NetBanking or Other Payment and fill in the following details.  After the fee is deposited, it will be written on the screen that we have been credited.  Then you will get an e-receipt to print.
Examination method
90 questions of Intellectual Aptitude Test will be literal and non-verbal and logical calculation. These questions will include NRG Classification Recall Series Pattern Hidden Figure etc.
The 90 questions of the Educational Aptitude Test will cover the subjects of Std. 7 and Std. 8 Mathematics Science and Social Sciences. Study for Std. 7 in the last academic year.

The elementary teachers demanded to be taken only once a month as the unit was not going to be out of the test. Gujarat NMMS 2019-2020 – National Means cum Merit Scholarship Exam will be conducted for Gujarat on December 22, 2019. In order to appear for the exam the candidate have to submit the Admit Card which will be avilable after successfully submitting the Application Form. Admit Card for Gujarat NMMS 2019 will be released online after the successful completion of the application form. Patients diagnosed in the earliest stage who undergo treatment have a five-year survival rate of 16 percent, according to the American Cancer Society. What Are Mesothelioma Survival Rates? Survival rate typically refers to the percentage of people with cancer who live one and five years after initial diagnosis.

These measures are referred to as the one-year and five-year mesothelioma survival rates. When discussing survival rates, you may hear other related terms such as life expectancy, which is the average time a person is expected to live based on birth year, current age, gender and other factors. Mesothelioma affects life expectancy because the cancer reduces the number of years a patient is expected to live.

 An advanced peritoneal mesothelioma therapy called hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) has significantly improved survival rates for this cancer. The procedure combines cytoreductive surgery and heated chemotherapy. Not everyone qualifies for this aggressive procedure, but more than half who do live at least five years.
 This compares to a median survival of less than 12 months for patients with pleural tumors. In select studies, heated chemotherapy has boosted peritoneal survival to between 40 and 92 months. A 2015 meta-study published in Translational Oncology analyzed 20 years of data, collected from 1992 to 2012. The five-year survival rate for peritoneal mesothelioma patients was more than five-times higher than the rate for pleural patients
