UPI Lite Reserve Bank of India( RBI) has launched UPI Lite in India for low cost deals. UPI Lite will work like UPI but is said to be briskly and simpler. The special thing is that with UPI Lite, druggies can make payments without internet connection, allowing druggies to shoot plutocrat snappily indeed during time-out and peak hours. 

No Leg, No Internet needed 

Unlike UPI, this app directly accesses the bank account and sends or receives plutocrat. UPI Lite is an ‘ on- device ’ portmanteau. A portmanteau where druggies can add plutocrat and use them to shoot plutocrat to anyone incontinently. One of the special features of UPI Lite is that it'll work indeed without internet connection. 

 

Because it's a portmanteau, druggies need to add finances to the portmanteau when they're online( with internet access), and also druggies can shoot plutocrat to anyone incontinently, indeed when there's no internet. But note that the plutocrat won't be credited if the philanthropist is offline. He'll get plutocrat when the internet connection is active. still, the NPC is planning to make UPI Lite fully offline. 

Also, UPI Lite doesn't bear UPI Leg, it'll directly pierce and use your quantum in your portmanteau. One thing to note then's that there's a limit to the quantum of plutocrat you can add to your UPI Lite portmanteau. Because it works without internet, only over to Rs 2000 can be added to your portmanteau. Also, you can shoot a outside of Rs 200 per sale. still, you can do unlimited deals in a day. UPI Lite is believed to be for low cost payments. 

UPI Lite available on BHIM App

The UPI Lite point is presently available on the BHIM app. As of now, there are eight banks that support the UPI Lite point. These include State Bank of India, Union Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Indian Bank, Canara Bank, Punjab National Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Utkarsh Small Finance Bank.
