National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW)

The e-Labor Portal has been created by the Department of Labor and Employment, Government of India. The E Shram Portal will compile data on more than 38 crore workers in the country's unorganized sector. Which will be linked to the Aadhaar card. This will collect the names, occupations, addresses, educational qualifications, business skills and family information of the workers. The main objective of the e-Labor Portal is to create a database of unorganized sector workers such as migrant workers, construction workers, domestic workers, agricultural workers. On the basis of E Sharam Card, the benefits of government schemes can be given to the workers in unison. Workers registered on this portal will be able to get a job based on their skills.

An e-labor portal is created by the Ministry of Labor and Employment to prepare a database of all unorganized sector workers in the country. It is imperative that the workers registered on this portal can easily avail various government schemes. With this in mind, many departments of the Government of India have joined hands as stakeholders in launching the portal for e-Shramik Card. Which are as follows.

The applicant beneficiary should not have paid Income Tax.

The age of the worker should be more than 16 years and less than 59 years.

The worker should not be a member of EPFO ​​/ ESIC.

Features of E Shram Portal

The e-Labor Portal has been launched by the Department of Labor and Employment, Government of India.

e Shram Portal will create a database of more than 38 crore unorganized sector workers.

Important information of e-labor card

The Labor Portal launched by the Government of India is very important. This portal will contribute a lot for the upliftment of the workers. The important points of E Shram Portal are as follows.


The creation of E Shram Card was launched on 26 August 2021 by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India.

This card can be made a citizen of any state of the country.

Through e-labor card, workers will be able to avail various government schemes.

All workers in the unorganized sector will be able to create e-labor cards.

Workers will have to register on the official website of the e-labor card to create this card.

Each worker will be given a card. Which will have a unique identification number.

The benefit of PM Suraksha Vima Yojana will also be available by making e-Shramik Card. Under which accident insurance up to 2.00 lakh will be provided. If this card is available, the insurance premium will be paid by the government.

Benefits of schemes available under E Shram Card

    e Shram card registration workers are given the benefit of various schemes. In which the main two are divided. In which 1) Social Security Welfare Schemes and 2) Employment Schemes. The details of these schemes are as follows.


Social Security Welfare Schemes

Workers with e-labor cards will get the benefit of social security schemes run by the Government of India. The details of these social security schemes are briefly as follows.

National Pension Scheme for Shopkeepers, Traders, and the Self-employed Persons

Eligible for 18 to 40 year old Indian citizen.

This is a pension scheme.

Under this scheme, the beneficiary has to pay a premium of Rs. 55 to 200.

The beneficiary will be entitled to a pension of up to 3000 after completion of 60 years.

Under this scheme, 50% of the premium will have to be paid by the beneficiary and 50% by the Central Government.

Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)

The benefit of this scheme will be available to the citizens of India between the ages of 18 to 50 years.

The PMJJBY scheme is run by the Finance Department of the Government of India.

Under this scheme an annual premium of Rs.330 has to be paid.

The amount of this premium has to be kept in the auto-debit bank.

In case of death due to corona / natural or accident up to 2.00 lakh sum assured.

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY)

The benefit of PMSBY scheme will be available to the citizens of India between the ages of 18 to 70 years.

The scheme is run by the Finance Department of the Government of India.

Under this scheme, an annual premium of Rs. 12 has to be paid.

The amount of this premium has to be kept in the auto-debit bank.

In case of death in an accident, the sum insured is up to Rs 2.00 lakh.

Atal Pension Yojana

The benefits of Atal Pension Yojana will be available to citizens of India between the ages of 18 and 40.

The benefit of this scheme is available after completion of 60 years of age.

Beneficiaries will be eligible for a pension of Rs.1000 to Rs.5000.

Public Distribution System (PDS) - NFSA

Beneficiaries living below the poverty line will benefit under this scheme.

Under this scheme 45 kg of wheat or rice will be available.

Under the PDS scheme, 15 kg of life essentials will also be available.

Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G)

Assistance will be provided to build a house under this housing scheme.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 1.2 lakh will be provided in open space.

Beneficiaries under PMAY-G will be given financial assistance of Rs. 1.3 lakh.

National Social Assistance Program (NSAP) -Old age Protection

This is a pension scheme providing social security to the elderly.

The plan is to pay a premium of Rs 300 to Rs 500.

Under this scheme 1000 to 3000 pensions are available.

Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan (PM-SYM) Pension Yojana

Citizens of India between the ages of 18 and 40 are eligible to meet.

The benefit of this scheme is available after completion of 60 years of age.

Under this scheme up to 3000 pensions are available.

Beneficiaries will have to pay a premium of Rs 55 to Rs 200 per month to avail the benefits of PM-SYM scheme.

Beneficiary income for this scheme is less than 15,000 and the beneficiary should not be a member of EPFO ​​/ ESIC / NPS (Govt. Funded).

Under PM-SYM, 50% of the premium will have to be paid by the beneficiary and 50% by the Central Government.


Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)

This is the plan of health insurance.

Health insurance up to Rs 5.00 lakh will be available under Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

There is no need to pay premium to avail this insurance plan.

Health Insurance Scheme for Weavers (HIS)

Will be available to Indian citizens.

Civil weaving should be working.

The weaver should be earning at least 50% of his income from handloom weaving.

People doing such work will be given assistance up to Rs. 15,000 for the treatment of various diseases.

National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC)

Scavengers in India will benefit from the scheme.

Sweepers will be given financial assistance.

Self Employment Scheme for Rehabilitation of Manual Scavengers (Revised)

The benefits of this scheme will be available to 17 Indian citizens.

Manual scavengers and their dependents will be given free skill development education.

The learner of this skill will be given a stipend of Rs. 3000.

Employment Schemes

Various schemes are run by the Government of India to provide employment to the citizens. Workers who have obtained e-SHRAM Card will get the benefit of the following employment oriented scheme.


MGNREGA

The scheme will benefit Indian citizens above the age of 18 years.

Under this scheme the beneficiary will be given 100 days employment.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya-Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY)

Any Indian citizen who wants to get skill development training will get it.

The purpose of this scheme is to train the rural poor. After training, rural people start new businesses.

PM SVANidhi

An Indian citizen must have a street vendor card.

Under this scheme, a loan of Rs. 10,000 will be given.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)

Under this scheme, Indian citizens between the ages of 18 to 45 will get.

The training of this skill development scheme will be available to the students who have passed out in Std-12 and passed Std-10.

One can get the best skills training for more private sector participation.

Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP)

The scheme will benefit Indian citizens above 18 years of age.

Financial assistance will be provided for setting up new industries.

More than Rs 10 lakh in the manufacturing sector and Rs. Up to Rs 5 lakh will be provided.

The first step is to type E Shram Portal in Google.
