Now manually update the name, address and DOB in Aadhaar Card sitting at home, find out what is the process

Aadhaar Card has become the most important document in the country.  Without it government and non-government work would stop.  If the details in the Aadhaar card are wrong, a lot of work can be stopped.  The Aadhaar Center had to be pushed first if there was an error in the Aadhaar card.  There was often no improvement due to the long long line.  But now you can get rid of it.  UIDAI had earlier discontinued self-update service in Aadhaar card but now it has been restarted.

 In addition to the applicant's name, Aadhaar's self-update service can also update the address, date of birth, gender, etc.  All this you can do from the comfort of your own home.  The condition is that your mobile number should be registered in Aadhaar.  We are telling you the complete process for updation.  Here's how everything can be updated on a home-based basis.

This is how you get into Aadhaar Card

 - For updation in Aadhar Card, first go to its official website uidai.gov.in.

 - Here you have to click on the option named MY Aadhaar.

 - Then go to Update Your Aadhaar and click on Update your Demographics Data Online column.

 - As soon as you click here you will be redirected to the official website of UIDAI Self Service Update Portal ssup.uidai.gov.in.

 - After doing so you will have to log in by entering your 12 digit base number.

 - Enter the captcha code given here and click on Send OTP.

 - Then an OTP will come to your registered mobile number.

 - After deleting the OTP, a new page will open in front of you.  Here you will need to fill in a number of personal details including your address, date of birth, name and Danger.

 - After doing so, now select the section in which you want to update.  If you want to update your date of birth, click Update DoB.

 - The special thing here is that if you update your date of birth you need to have ID proof with correct date of birth.

 - OTP will be sent to your registered number after filling all the details.  After filling it, you have to click on Save Change.  Your date of birth will now be updated.
