20% relief in payment of annual property tax to commercial units
10% relief in property tax for the year 2020-21 for residential properties to be paid by 31st July 2020
Waiver of 100 units in electricity bill for residential electricity consumers consuming less than 500 units per month.
Fixed charge waiver of May 2020 in electricity bill for customers with low transmission electricity connection for commercial electricity consumers and industries.
Electricity tax for small shops like groceries, textiles, readymade garments, medical etc. for the three months of June, July and August will be reduced from 30 per cent to 12 per cent.
High Transmission Customers are allowed to pay the same amount without interest in four months from September 2020 to December 2020 by extending the May payment period of fixed charges
The loan would be for tenure of three years and the state government would finalise guidelines for the same soon.
We hope to complete all the formalities in coming three months,” said the chief minister.
Rupani further said that the loans will be available under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana from cooperative banks, district banks and credit cooperative societies on the basis of a written application.
The state has a huge network of more than 220 urban cooperative banks having 1,000 branches across Gujarat.
Moreover, 18 district cooperative banks have 1,400 branches across the state.
