- Sparrow Day is a day designated to raise awareness of the house sparrow and then other common birds to urban environments, and of threats to their populations, observed on 20 March.
- Sparrow is a state bird of Delhi.

Government taking positive steps for listing Bhojpuri, Rajasthani & Bhoti into 8th Schedule of constitution

- The issue was raised during Zero hour in Lok Sabha by Jagdambik Pal of BJP.
- Mr. Pal said that almost 20 crore people in 16 countries speak them.
- The Ladakhi language is also called Bhoti as a Tibetian language spoken in the Ladakh union territory of India.
- There are a total 22 languages up to now in the 8th Schedule of the constitution.
